Already!

Am I the only one here that thinks this month has just flown by? It is just hard to believe that today is the last day of September. Wow I just can't wrap my self around this cause it just seems like yesterday we were in Indiana. This just blows my mind!

Stephanie finally got into her new dorm last night, well I hope so I have not heard for sure but they were to move last night into their new dorm rooms. She was so excited about it cause she got to room with Jackie her new bud in college. And the big plus is that she has her own bathroom and own bedroom. I will up date you later on what I know. Or just maybe she might post on her blog so we can see pictures.

QVC did it to us again!

QVC was at it again they had scrap booking on their show a week ago today. So here are the results! Mind you these are all NOT mine some of them are my mom's stash!


Three of these boxes were mine the rest was moms. The picture below is what was in my three boxes!! Cool stuff don't you think. I twas like Christmas at our house! hehehehe But with no snow! :0(This last picture is all of the stuff that mom bought WOW! I think between the two of us we have more than the stores do! hehehe but that is okay I love to scrapbook. The new page topper came from on of the kits that came with some of my stuff. It is from a CD and I designed it. Kind of cute? I think that CD will be fun to play around with! Hope to show you more of my designs!

Something I love

Okay here is my page for the contest. This page was to be of something I love, well I had to make it someone I Love. These pictures are of my husband Eric while we were still dating. The pictures are in Colorado up in the Poudre River Canyon in 1986. Isn't he good looking and such a ham!!!

Okay Page Maps here is my entry I hope everyone likes it. I had fun doing this cause it brought back some really good memories! P.S. Don't look at the date too close I have as 1996 not 1986 But I can easily change it. :0) I also wrote or typed something I Love and crossed it out and had it say Someone I love!!

I can't believe I almost forgot to watch Dancing with the Stars!!!!!!!! Can you believe it? Yap I did for shame one me. But the good new is that I got to watch them all dance so I didn't miss much. Can I just say WOW!!!! I think this is the first year that I am going to vote for more than one or two. There were quit a few good ones!!! But now I am having trouble voting, they must be really busy this has never happened to me before!!! So I guess I will try in the morning!!! Coffee tomorrow will be fun to talk about Dancing with the Stars!!!

A new Page Maps contest!!!

Yeah Becky has another Page Maps Contest!!! I am so excited. I think this has been the only time I feel like scrap booking is when she has a contest. So here is the page that she has for this one! Tara Sand Mandala Update

If you could change anything about your life today, what would it be?

Yesterday on Sisterhood of scrap They posted this question "If you could change anything about your life today, what would it be?" And it really got me thinking about what I would like to change and the first thing is not be so negative about things going on in my life, I would like to be able to look more into the positive than the negative. Second not to be so down on my self I always feel that I am not good enough to do things or talented enough to make thing I always think some one's stuff is better than what I can do. Third my weight and being lazy! yeah you got it if I wasn't so lazy I probably would loose weight. I just seem to can't get my self motivated to do a thing. HELP!!!! Well that is my take on this question I would like to here others on their comments on this question so please feel free to post on here. Chicago, Chicago!

Long day and some it was disappointing but the end was worth every minute. I got to spend the evening with my daughter. Her loving boyfriend Travis (who spoils her rotten!) got her free tickets to go see Chicago at the Orpheum in Sioux City last night and she asked me to go with. We had a great time, we sat in the nose bleed area but they were still good seats. The music wasn't loud which was a BIG plus!!! I was really cool. Stephanie said it was better than Rent. I don't Rent was pretty good but very loud! Our next adventure might be Wicked or Stomp. This going to see Broadway musicals is a lot of fun! Thanks Travis for the Tickets I can't thank you enough!!!

The most Awsomenest

It came today!!! It came today!!! Have you gotten the hint that I am really excited about what I got in the mail today? Well I am, I have been looking at a for this book for months now ever sense it came out in print, I love Becky's web site page maps And now I can love her book too! I have to wipe the drool from my mouth I am so excited. My Page Maps book came in the mail today!! Hooray Hooray. Thanks to My mother-in-law and Tim for the $20.00 smackaroos that they gave me for my birthday, went to a good cause (don't you think?). Thanks guys soooo very much. So Stephanie has created a monster now I have learned how to take picture with my timer on my camera. So watch out world here I come!!! I even took some on vacation with my timer I was pretty proud of myself! So here I am with my second favorite book next to the Bible of course. Not that I read it much cause I get so confused but I do know it is always there for me when I need it. :0)
Becky Fleck I would like to thank you for such a neat and inspiring book. Hopefully I can get back into the grove of scrap booking again. Thanks again to all that made it possible for me to have this boo. Oh yeah I got it for $21.00 and some cents. Plus I got another book that talks about page maps too for free it was buy on get one free. I just love bargains. I knew if I hung around long enough that I would get it at a price I could afford!! yeah!!!!

Morningside college

Wednesday the 3rd we went up to see Stephanie and took her and Travis out to lunch. After we got our tummies full we went to Morningside college and see some Monks doing sand art and so here are some pics from that.

Texas Road House

September 1st

Monday our last day in Indiana with our buds we went to Texas Road House. We have never eaten there before then. Mark and Carol really like so they wanted us to try it. Well can I say I am hooked!! the food is out of this world and you get a lot to eat!!!! Here is a couple pictures from there.

Also this morning they took us to a cover bridge and here are a few of those pic too! Really neat bridge.

Well our journey came to an end here is the last picture at the Indianapolis train station. We miss our Indiana buddies already. Don't be surprised if we show up out of the blue one of these days. I will call this weekend!

A breather!

August 29th, 2008

I finally have a breather so I can get some more updated on our vacation. Friday the 29th we went to the Air Force Museum in Dayton Ohio. I was really worried that I would be bored out of my mind but it was really neat place to walk around. it was so neat we were there for about 6 hours. They have three hangers full and I mean full of planes. I had taken so many photos that I will never be able scrap them all. So here are some pictures that I like the most! This is a huge quilt that has all the Air Force bases on it. Of course F.E. Warren's square is clear up on the top. But here is Mark and Eric standing in front of it.

This is when the boys went into a Thunderbird simulator. Marks looks like yeap I did it I am good!!!

These are missiles that Mark and Eric used to guard when they would go out in the field when they were stationed at Cheyenne WY.This is my favorite picture I took all day. I just love the reflection off the granite bench that I sat my camera on.
The squeal of tires just for a photo opted! Mark just happen to see this statue and stopped to have another photo opt!
The paparazzi was following them every where!! They are so good looking how can they not!!!

Can you tell I like Elvis?

These chairs are made of recycled tires. It looks really cool, didn't sit in one but they looked comfortable.These pictures are of the soldier and sailor monument. It was really pretty. This last picture is from the observation look out. It is as tall as the Statue of Liberty, it was so hot up there Carol and I didn't stay up there very long. The boys fallowed not long after that. I will post more later gotta get an ice coffee!!!
