She's 21

Oh man can you believe that 21 years ago I was in the hospital having this bundle of joy.And today 21 year later here she is. Still our baby and always will be in our eyes. But she is now a lady a grown up and adult. Where has the time gone? Just a little fast if you ask me.

Today I am going to cheat a little. I had taken this picture while were having all the fog and frost but had a different picture that day I wanted to post. Went to Hobby Lobby today and was looking at flowers for Stephanie's weeding and found some beautiful flowers, so I took some pictures and this one is my favorite one that I took. I think it looks like an old fashioned card. What do you think?

Well not to bad I have done three days in a row now think that is a record? LOL Today I am not doing food, I took a picture of my Zune, that my family had gotten me a year ago for Christmas. It holds all and I do mean all of my CD's that I own 3,184 songs are on it right now, and I think four of my favorite movies. Wild Hogs is one of them. I just love my toy. The song rang from 1950 to present time with a lot of country and a little of rock and roll. Of course Elvis and George Strait in my Zune is a must. hehehehe

Today's picture was brought to you cause my mom got these CD's in the mail today. I tried to order them from QVC a few weeks ago while I was house sitting but I couldn't get logged into their computer. She let me down load them on to my Zune I am so excited. Thanks mom for letting me do that. Your the best!!! I love his Christian and Gospel music.

We went wedding dress shopping yesterday and this is the back of the second favorite dress. No peaking on the one we ended up with. You know Travis might be lurking :0)........

KISS

No this is not a kiss I am giving out or getting, it is the rock group KISS I am talking about! Oh this is too exciting I just might have a chance to go and see Kiss with my brother and his wife and my hubby. I am just to darn excited about this. I have always wanted to see them but never had the chance. And this summer might be my chance? I will give details more when I know more. ROCK ON!!!!!

Beautiful, foggy, frosty morning!

What a beautiful morning it is. God has been working over night and this is what we woke up to. These pictures was taken over at our neighbors pine tree. Just love the colors in these pictures. Everything is just soo pretty this morning. The fog is even pretty, if that can be possible?

Blast from the past

Here is # 3 for the year! This is my loving hubby looking through some of his OLD albums that we left at his sisters house and she brought them to the birthday party to give to us or Jordan Eric's little brother. We had more than 250 albums between the two of us when we moved to Iowa. (Most were Eric's) We had given Jordan a bunch of them years ago but never gave him the rest. We are entrusting him with our treasures..... We also have a picture of Stephanie when she was little in front of all the albums...maybe if I find it I just might post it some day. :0) Thanks for stopping by!

One way?

Picture # 2 here for today's post. Here at the end of our street is the city park so I thought I would walk down and see if I could walk in the park cause it has frosted and it is really pretty in the park and I came across this sign that one shows me that it is closed in but I found it funny you can't really even go one way. I know I have a funny sense of humor but I could help my self. This picture taken every day I thought would be a challenge but I think it might be easy!!!

Okay got this idea from another friend's blog. ( Anna T.) So I thought I would give it a try. Your to take a picture every day of the year so by the time Dec. 31st rolls around you should have 365 pictures. Well I am behind already so here is my first one. And I call it Iowa snowy beaches. It was taken between here and Onawa. Now I know there are no irrigation equipments on the beaches but in Iowa we have them.

enough!!!

Okay I can't believe I am saying this and it is coming out of my mouth. I have had enough SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had about 24 inches Christmas and had another 3 inches Sunday and now another 4-7 is on it's way. It probably wouldn't be so bad but we are running out of room to put all of this snow. This morning it was a big whopping -22 degrees and right now it warmer at -8 degrees. We are having a heat wave!!!! LOL Stephanie might have to leave early to go back to school in Sheldon, or she will miss classes Thursday. Never thought that I would see this much snow at once. I did see it when I was a kid (which was not to long ago LOL) Some one told me that the ground doesn't even have frost in it if any. I walked to town this morning, it wasn't to bad cause there was no wind. The ol scarf did freeze up from me breathing on it and the coat made crackling noises when I walked so that is cold. Thought it just might shatter from all the cold. The little beast started up this morning but was a little mad. Well stay warm and safe.
