I-80 rest area.

These pictures were taken on Interstate 80 Westbound rest stop between Adair & Casey, Iowa.  It is one of the windmill blades that you see being hauled on the interstate and those massive windmills along the interstate.
It was just beautiful!

#844 Steam Engine

Stephanie and I took Eric to see #844 steam engine today.  When I was a little kid during Frontier days it would leave Cheyenne and go to Denver to pick up people and take them back up to Cheyenne for the day and night.  We could hear her coming for miles, and then we would go to the station in town (no longer a station) and watch her come in town and fill up with water.  I was so awesome to see and hear her coming.  Memories of being a kid......  The steam engine is in Council Bluffs till I think Sunday.

Reflections of Iowa

Went grocery shopping today and when I got home unloaded the car then headed to go and get hubby from work.  I really hate having one car again but that is another story.  Any way on the way home from getting him we went past this pond as we do every time I pick him up and the reflection was so pretty in the water I had to go home and get my camera.  After supper I headed out of town and clicked away and here are my results.  Enjoy and thanks for stopping by!
