Took my mom to show her Big Lake in Council Bluffs and I just had to take some pictures of these ducks. I just had my pocket camera so they are not the best as they could of been. :-( But I am glad I had my pocket camera with me. It reminds me Glenmere Park in Greeley but smaller. May have to go back and feed them some day old bread, like I used to in Greeley

Eric and I went to take pictures of the sunset and this is what was greeting us. A very beautiful breath taking sunset. WOW! The sun is setting so much earlier now, you can sure tell summer is coming to an end. I can't say I am sad to see summer leave, this has been one really hot summer. I am so much a sweatshirt girl. And I am so ready for winter or at least cooler weather.
These are the neighobors flowers after the beautiful rain fall we had yesterday.
These are my roses not a gorgeous as my grandma K's roses were but they are my roses and darn proud of them.

These jars are for all seasons and has Popsicle sticks for the guest to write an idea what to do during those seasons when they are bored. It was a big hit they all had fun writing on them.

It was the most beautiful day Friday August 17th. I had such a fun day laughing taking pictures and doing some crafts with my two besties that scrapbook. I made things for the bridal shower I was helping host the up coming weekend. As you can see we even took advantage of the gorgeous weather we scrapbooked out side. Had to chase a few things once in a while but all was good. Here is a butterfly that was visiting while were out side.
These clouds were breath taking it looked like angel wings placed in the sky.
