I'm going scrapin'

OH yeah Oh yeah! I get to go scrapbooking tomorrow! I just can't wait I am so excited. Silly thing I have nothing packed to yet! Guess I am a little slow on that. I am leaving in the morning and going to Sioux City to take my collage children some Halloween treats!!! Then off to Correctionville. Oh yeah before I go there I have some Hobby Lobby and Micheal's stops to make. Got coupons will travel! lol Hopefully I will have pages to show you all tomorrow night!!

cool idea!

For those who are photographers here is a really neat idea. I ran across this web site and had this really awesome cool idea for those of us who can't remember what our settings should be for our cameras. It comes from Daily Inspirations from scrap all you will have to do is click on the link and I have set it so it will take you there. I just really think this is a neat idea! She has even given all the directions on how to do it. So enjoy my fellow scrapbookers and photographers!!!!! Let me know what you think. I honor of my Auntie

I have been wanting to do this page for some time now but never had the inspiration to do it. Until Becky had this really neat layout for her newest contest.

I started this page a week ago and finally just finished it. I love my Auntie K. so much and just think she is the bomb!! :0)

I hope this page gives honor to her and her life! She is just so amazing how she has handled all the stuff that God has thrown at her, in her life time. Right now she has been going to the hospital every day to go and see my Uncle Don (her husband) that was hurt back in July on SUV. And in the midst of all that she even remembered to send me a birthday card! Wow what a Auntie!!! I love you so very much Aunt Shirley! My Uncle is pretty amazing too!!!! I love them more than words can say!!!!

Today the RED HAT LADIES had their salad luncheon at the Church where they invited the Woodbine chapter to come. We had some really great food and great conversation!!! We had some skits and a little poem read.

A single Rose

A single Rose has adorned my first rose bush. I didn't think it would do any thing this year cause I waited to long to plant it. But to my eyes appeared a single rose of red. It rained last night so this morning there was still rain droplets on it so I just had to do a photo shoot of my rose. And of course I had to do some playing around with the pictures. So here are a couple of them that I took. My grandma K. and My Aunt Helen would be proud!!!!

I think I just might email my rose to Aunt Helen and show her what I grew all by my lonesome! :0)

Hey I have a new sweatshirt, it is from Morningside. I don't go to this college but I got it just cause I love the grey and burgundy.

Challange Me!!!!

Hey Page Maps Has a new challenge. this one is to be some thing meaningful to you weather it be about breast cancer. But I do believe that is what I am doing on mine I have two very special people in my life that has had breast cancer and have had to go through chemo. Keeping under wraps!

I have never been so glad to see Sunday here in my life. I have had to keep a secret and was not to announce it until today. So here it goes. Thursday morning I had went to coffee my normal routine on the week day mornings. Came home and checked my email and to my wondering eyes does appear was a email from the sisterhood of scrap asking me yes ME little ole me to be a sister for this up coming week. At first I thought this has got to be some kinda joke cause things like this don't happen to me. So I proceeded to email them back and tell them that I would be delighted and honored to be a Sister. And so they email me back and gave me a questionnaire to fill out and asked me not to tell any one. Do you know how hard this has been for me. I have been bouncing off the walls with excitement!!! My daughter showed me this web site the last time she was home. It is called Year book Yourself Just click on Year book Yourself and it will take you to the site. This is was my take on it. This is what I was to look like the year I graduated in 1982 yeah it has been that long ago!!! No jokes from the peanut gallery!!!

Who's your daddy?

The man, the best race car diver alive just won the race at Talladega Speedway!!! You go SMOKE!!!!!! But did you have to make it such a nail bitter. It was one of the best races I have seen in some time. There was two BIG wrecks one had nine cars in it and the other big one had 10 cars in it. Can you tell I am so excited that my favorite race car drive just won!!! If some you don't know by now who it is. Well let me tell you how about that Tony Stewart!!! Hey Chill Tony won!!! Hooray!!! I just can't contain myself. He had the Subway car today! I wish I had a picture to share with you. Well hold on let me google it and see what I can come up with, don't want to disappoint any one out there. Oh man I found one so feast your eyes on this awesome car!!!

Happy Birthday MOM!!!

Today is my mom's birthday and I took her out for lunch to a Mexican restaurant called Fernandos. I ate tooo much!!! So what else is new when I go there I think I need to eat every thing on my plate. They even gave her a free fried ice cream MMMMMM Goood! so here are a few pics. We even had Margarita's ohhh sooo good.

Challange!

I am really getting into these challenges cause it get me to scrapbooking again! Sisterhood of Scrap has a challenge once a week and this weeks challenge was to scrap a page with no people in it. So here is mine! Now that summer is over I had all these pictures of flowers so I thought why not scrap them. I called this page Colors of Summer! Some I took on vacation, some from a dear friends yard (DeeAnn), some from my own back yard and front yard and some from Morningside Collage. I bought an awesome new toy from Archivers, and this was the result of them. They are from Bazzill Basics Paper and they are called In Stitch'z you have got to try them they are a lot of fun.
