Started off on the wrong foot!

Well we made it to Indiana and it didn't start off real well. The train was four hours late! I fell and thought that I just broke my new camera. Here is a picture of my hands.

Then we had to get off the train in the first town they came to in Illinois we had to and get on a bus the rest of the way cause we missed our train in Chicago! Go figure! Yeah my mom told me to call but I was so excited about going that I forgot to call. Oh the camera well I lost the camera lens cap to a lens eating drain cover!!

Here is the view from our motel room Thursday morning!

We are right next to the new Colts football stadium. Not a bad looking place for a dome!

The brick yard was just too cool for words I have so many pictures to share that I don't know which ones to share with you so here are a few!

I will post more in the morning I am really tired so enjoy what I have up so far. This was a day I will never forget!!!

Two in one week!!

Woohoo I did another page. Not one of my best but I just had to scrap my Moss Roses that I bought for $5.00 at Pamida. I was so surprised that they were still growing cause I don't have a green thumb like my Grandma K, Aunt Helen and my Aunt Shirley K. Guess didn't get into my blood! :0(

I thought they were so pretty that day. They are called some thing else but I think they look like moss roses.

Here in America

My cousin Betty sent this to me, and i just had to share it with you all!

The song you are about to listen to is from a Los Vegas Diamond Rio concert. They received an immediate resounding standing ovation, and continue to do so every time they perform!

Sadly, major radio stations wouldn't play it because it was considered 'politically incorrect'.

I think it sends an awesome message!!!!!! Thanks cuz for sending it to me!!!

Addiction!

ad·dic·tion ~ [uh-dik-shuhn] –noun
the state of being enslaved to a habit or practice or to something that is psychologically or physically habit-forming, as narcotics, to such an extent that its cessation causes severe trauma.

I think I have an addiction? :0) I have just come to the conclusion that I have a blogger addiction! I am always looking at new blogger and friends that have blogger. It is like I can't get enough of them. My most favorite ones are mainly about scrap booking and photography. Oh yeah I like checking out my daughters too that is when she up dates hers. I wonder if they have a like an AA like alcohol Anonymous but it would be called Blogger Anonymous? Just had to share this with you, I thought of this when I was cleaning my craft room. Yeah and I am still cleaning do you think it will ever get clean? Me neither!!!

Ripley's Beleive It Or Not

Hey I told you that I would scrap book, well here is the layout that I used! It is from Page Maps
I just love that site!!! I just flipped it when I did this layout and I made it a 12x12 it was originally a 8 1/2 x 11

This layout goes with my other ELVIS layout that I did for the contest on page maps.

Zoo Big NO! Durham Museum YES!

Were off to the Omaha Zoo but well there were so many cars and all the lots were full so they said, but any who we decided not to drive around and waste gas just trying to find a place to park we went to the Durham Museum. We always have a great time when we go looking at the trains and other exhibits that happen to be there at the time. This visit brought us to the Amazon. We didn't get a lot of pictures of that exhibit but had fun any way. There was a a huge Anaconda snake! And you got I didn't close enough for a photo opt with it. You couldn't pay me enough to do that. Oh I should let you know it was a fake snake but still NO WAY!

The 1243 Train All Aboard!!!!!!

Ahhhh what a cute couple!

Looking Good!

Okay the next set of pictures of a old camera that was there and we took our turns looking through it. Quite comical if I do say so my self!

Wow this is cool!

Glad I don't have to lug this camera around!

Okay this is not funny who raised the camera? ;o)

Vintage picture kinda cool ha?

Eric giving homage to a St. Lois Cardinal.

Now we are the Amazon area Just a couple pictures.

Isn't this costume beautiful!

Here is this happy family on a replica of a boat that they take in the Amazon.

And of course peanut and me on the train!
This trip was a lot of fun a very educational I learned how to use my timer on my camera! And that the Anaconda only eats four times a year. So if you go swimming in the Amazon you better hope and pray that day isn't the day that the Anaconda eats!!!!

Now I am off to get some scrap booking done!!!

45 years

Wow it is MY 45th birthday. I such a young pup! I really had a nice day my daughter made breakfast for my and Eric this morning. MMMM Pancakes!!! Then I taught her how to run the grill for lunch. That was kinda interesting!! For super Stephanie made George Strait Chicken!!! Good stuff! Eric bought me flowers and here is a picture of the flowers he bought.

Then Stephanie baked me a birthday cake and here is a few pics!! It was strawberry my fave! She did a good job decorating it with skittles.

Eric also bought me a balloon and an angel pin that has my birthstone in it. I love them all :o).

Then we went to choir practice and Deb and Jane threw confetti and sang Happy Birthday to me. They also had a cute cake for me with three candles in it. I would like to thank all who made my birthday a very special day. Even my brother who said I was an old fart! I told him that my farts were not old!!

Thanks ALL!!!!!

Well this one is for Becky's challenge on Page Maps blog. I had a lot of fun with this one. I plugged in a Elvis CD and rocked while I did this. As you can see it is a page about Elvis well not really it was an impersonator that was at our County Fair this year. I had such a great time watching him and really wishing that I could of gotten the chance to of see the real ELVIS in person but before I had the chance he had passed away. :0(
